Egg Freezing Rates
At Manchester Fertility, the embryology team has extensive experience in vitrifying donor eggs for patient treatment. The latest survival rate of thawing frozen eggs is 83% (date range for 2022).
Currently, we do not have enough data from treatment using patients' own frozen eggs to give meaningful clinical pregnancy or live birth results. Our results from frozen donor egg treatment have similar results to cycles when fresh eggs are used. The results above will indicate the clinical pregnancy and live birth rates that can be expected when using frozen eggs in ICSI treatment, depending on the patient's age at the time the eggs are cryopreserved.

About Clinic Success Rates
Success rates are so important when choosing a fertility clinic and we want to help you make the right decision for you. Here is a little more information about our clinic’s success rates.
- Success rates shown here are verified data from the HFEA website and compared with HFEA national data
- All our success rates are consistent with national average
- Success rates by clinic depend on:
– Patients treated for a particular treatment
– Patient reason for infertility - In cases where the number of patients treated it is not possible to give a result – this is indicated by **
- All data is presented per embryo transferred. Births or clinical pregnancy per embryo transferred is the preferred method of showing results by the HFEA. This promotes embryo transfer practices that minimise the chances of twins, which carry health risks for the babies and the mother. However, this measure does not incorporate the outcomes of patients who do not reach the embryo transfer stage
