We are honest, transparent and upfront about our prices, so as patients, you know you can afford treatment before starting your journey with us. You won’t be asked to pay any money for tests or scans before you have spoken with our team to discuss your options.
No Hidden Extras
Clinics will display treatment costs in different ways and it can be confusing when comparing fertility treatment prices. Essential Fertility Treatments have no hidden extras and we strive to make our treatments as transparent as possible. Our treatment package prices outline everything that is included. Initial fertility tests and scans are not included in treatment.

Add-ons are additional parts of fertility treatments. Some clinics may include specific add-ons with their treatment packages, while others charge separately. HFEA, the Human Fertilisation & Embryology Authority, investigates treatment add-ons regularly and assigns them a level with a traffic light system. The traffic-light-rated list of add-ons consists of three colours that indicate whether the evidence, in the form of high-quality RCTs, shows that a treatment add-on is effective at improving the chances of having a baby for someone undergoing fertility treatment. We do not charge for embryo selection add-ons offered as part of your treatment package at Essential Fertility.
Inclusive Add Ons
Treatment 'add-ons' can dramatically increase the base cost of fertility treatment. When comparing treatment costs, it is crucial to check whether the treatment includes specific add-ons or your overall treatment could be significantly more expensive than expected. Essential Fertility treatments are inclusive of the following evidence-based interventions.
Flexible payment options
We’ve partnered with Access Fertility to help you spread the cost of your Essential IVF, ICSI, or egg freezing treatment. Their packages give you the financial flexibility of starting treatment when it's right for you.
You can apply to borrow any amount up to £6,000 and use that amount to pay for all or part of your treatment. If your loan amount doesn’t cover the full cost, you simply pay the difference directly.
