We are delighted to announce the launch of Essential Fertility® - a new service offering affordable fertility treatments. Essential Fertility has been introduced by leading fertility clinic Manchester Fertility in response to the shortage of quality, affordable fertility treatment in the UK.
Determined to make treatment more accessible, the fertility experts at Manchester Fertility have developed low-cost, nurse-led, and protocol-driven treatments. Our treatments offer an private clinic, low cost alternative for patients experiencing lengthy wait times on the NHS or who may be affected by the ‘postcode lottery’. However, the treatments are not just for those on NHS wait lists; we welcome all patients who meet our eligibility criteria.
Whether you are looking to start fertility treatment on your own as a solo mum, are in a same-sex or heterosexual relationship, or want to preserve your fertility for the future, we have a treatment for you. Current treatments include Essential IVF®, Essential ICSI, and Essential Egg Freezing®. Essential IVF & ICSI treatments are available with donor sperm from screened UK sperm donors.
What is the cost and what is included?
All treatments come as single-cycle packages and include everything you need for IVF, ICSI or egg freezing. Our IVF & ICSI packages include all the medication you will need during your cycle, one free frozen embryo transfer, and freezing and storage for the first year. We also include blastocyst culture, EmbryoGlue, time-lapse imagining, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) embryo selection for implantation.
Essential Egg Freezing includes your treatment consultation, all medication required, egg freezing and storage costs for one year and your follow-up appointment.
We believe Essential treatments are among the most competitive and comprehensive in the UK. Essential IVF is £2950, Essential ICSI is £3900, and Essential Egg Freezing is £2900. If donor sperm is required for treatment, this is available at an additional cost of £950
Who will be looking after me and my treatment?
Essential Fertility has an incredible team that will work with you to ensure your journey is as smooth as possible. With some of the most renowned fertility experts in the country, Essential Fertility treatments give you confidence that you will be looked after while in our care.
Senior Fertility Consultant Dr Raj Mathur leads an experienced team of Senior Fertility Nurses who will carry out your treatment. All egg collections will be carried out by a Fertility Consultant. In addition, we have a wealth of experience in all other areas of treatment, including fertility midwives, sonographers, embryologists, counsellors, and andrologists. Last but not least, we have our exceptional patient team, who will help you take your first steps into Essential Fertility.
Where will I go for treatment?
At Essential Fertility, all tests, scans and treatment are carried out under one roof at our purpose-built, state-of-the-art clinic. From our waiting areas to our treatment rooms, our facilities are modern and comfortable, offering you a calm, relaxing space when you visit.
Wherever you are in the UK our clinic is easily accessible by road, rail or air. Based in South Manchester, we are near the main motorways, train, and tram stops and 10 minutes away from Manchester Airport.
Does affordable treatment mean less support?
