About Lynsey Moorhead
Lynsey is our senior midwife on the Essential Fertility pathway. She will support you on your journey from early pregnancy for scans and blood tests through, egg collection and embryo transfer, to the ‘Two-Week Wait’ and beyond.
At Essential Fertility, we understand the importance of feeling fully supported and cared for during treatment. Lynsey's unwavering dedication to patient care ensures that this support continues even after a positive pregnancy test. Her role is to bridge the gap from completing your fertility treatment to starting your maternity care, providing a seamless and reassuring transition.
Lynsey has worked within our nursing team for 8 years across all midwifery areas. Before her role at Essential Fertility, her early experience was within the Maternal and Fetal Health Research Centre as the Lead Midwife for the Preterm Labour Clinic at St Mary's Hospital in Manchester.
As a nurse-led service, Lynsey and the nursing team are crucial to the ongoing wellbeing of Essential Fertility's patients and ensuring their journey is as comfortable and reassuring as possible.
