About Anamika

Dr Anamika Rao is one of our resident fertility Consultants at Essential Fertility. She and Dr Raj Mathur lead the rest of the team in building the families they've always dreamed of.

With more than 20 years of experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Dr Rao brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role. She guides the patients through every step of their fertility journey with compassion, which is essential for individuals navigating our affordable fertility treatments such as IVF/ICSI or egg freezing.

 Having earned her postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in India and the UK, she is at the forefront of the latest advancements in assisted reproductive technologies. From cutting-edge IVF to emotional support,  Dr Rao's approach is characterised by open communication and  a focus on the patient's well-being.

 As a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Dr Rao has a keen interest in many fertility specialities such as fertility preservation techniques (egg and sperm freezing), intrauterine insemination with partner or donor sperm, IVF-ICSI treatment, egg and sperm donation, reception of donor eggs and/or sperm), partner- to -partner IVF treatment (shared motherhood), and recurrent miscarriage.

 Driven by a genuine desire to impact her patients' lives positively, Dr Rao is an integral part of the Essential Fertility team, providing realistic guidance and unwavering support to those on their fertility journey.
